Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the SinglesPortal dating platform, operated by SinglesPortal UG, Mühlenstrasse 8C, 14167 Berlin, Germany (hereinafter "we" or "SinglesPortal").

By registering and using the platform you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms you may not use the platform.

SinglesPortal is intended exclusively for persons who have reached the age of 18. By registering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Your Account

You are required to provide truthful and complete information when registering. Your account is non-transferable and may not be used by third parties.

You are responsible for all activities carried out via your account. Keep your password secure and never share it with anyone.

• You may only create one account
• Your profile must represent you personally (no false name, no photos of others)
• You may not use the platform for commercial purposes

3. Prohibited Content and Behaviour

The following content and behaviours are expressly prohibited on SinglesPortal:

• Harassment, threats or intimidation of other users
• Distribution of sexually explicit, violent or discriminatory content
• Creating fake profiles or identity fraud
• Sending spam, advertising or unsolicited commercial messages
• Fraud attempts, particularly soliciting money or gifts
• Use of bots, crawlers or automated scripts
• Distribution of malware or harmful code

Violations may result in immediate suspension or deletion of your account. For serious violations we reserve the right to take legal action.

4. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time under "Settings → Delete account". Upon cancellation your profile data will be deleted, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts without prior notice in the event of violations of these Terms of Service.

5. Limitation of Liability

SinglesPortal is a platform for connecting users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of profile information provided by other users.

We are not liable for damages arising from the use of the platform unless they are due to our gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent that no essential contractual obligations are affected.

6. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence additionally apply.

The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms of Service is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.

The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is available for disputes with consumers.
